Grocery is the category where pack size decides whether a deal is one at all. A larger pack at a lower percentage discount is regularly cheaper per kilo than a small pack at a bigger one, so read the quantity in the title before the number on the badge.

Work out the price per kilo or per litre and compare that, not the discount. Pack sizes vary enough between listings that the headline percentage says very little on its own.
