Not announced — Flipkart has confirmed 9 October for Big Billion Days, while Amazon-side hints say 27 September; Amazon has confirmed nothing (checked 15 September). Amazon has not announced a date. Flipkart has: Big Billion Days starts on 9 October, with early access on 8 October — and Amazon has opened the Great Indian Festival on the same day as Flipkart three years running, 8 October 2023, 27 September 2024 and 23 September 2025. Two hints from Amazon's side point earlier instead: an Amazon customer-service chat shared on Reddit on 8 September gave 27 September to 12 October, and Amazon's Rufus shopping assistant reportedly suggested 27 September to 23 October. Neither is an announcement, and both would mean Amazon going early this year. This page changes the day Amazon confirms. Against that, an Amazon support chat (shared on Reddit on 8 September) and Amazon's Rufus assistant (reported on 15 September) both suggested 27 September. Not announced either. Amazon names a card partner alongside the dates, and in recent years that has meant a 10% instant discount on one bank's cards with a per-transaction cap. The cap matters more than the headline percentage on a large basket, so check it before planning an order around the offer.
